I loooove Alfredo

So tonight I made alfredo pasta again (the husband's wishes lol)...but this time I added shimp to the pasta instead of making fish.  I absolutely love the recipe I found for this quick semi-homemade alfredo.  =)  I highly recommend all you to try this recipe.  Here is my version of this recipe:
 1/2 cup butter
8 oz. Philadelphia Italian and Herbs cooking cream cheese
1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon garlic powder

 1.  Melt butter
 2. Add cream cheese and melt with continuous stirring
 3. Add whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder.
 4. Stir until it comes to a smooth liquid texture.

For tonight's dinner I added shrimp (which I boiled in water for 3 minutes first).  And add garlic bread of course!  I love garlic bread lol.  (Garlic is good for your body too!)  This was our outcome:

Please try this recipe of Alfredo sauce and let me know what you think!  Also if you have any other good tips of what to make using the sauce, please do share.  Have a good night ya'll.  =)

  2. You're welcome!! How did you like your cruises?! AJ wants to go on one really bad but I have a weird phobia of large boats that I can't explain except for they just scare the heck out of me, lol. I really want to go on a beach vacay, just he and I, when he's home in July, I think it's much needed, maybe we'll be able to go to St. John's!

  3. Thanks for the comment! I love the panhandle of FL, my family goes on family vacation to the Gulf every year, to Ft. Walton Beach, FL which is super close to Destin but in my opinion, more of a calmer, family destination, lol. I'll definitely look into those places that you were saying, I haven't been to Myrtle Beach in years, my family used to go there a lot too, but we kind of fell in love with Ft. Walton and kept going back there.
